About The Position

After completing the paid 16-week CT Apprenticeship program, this full-time position would consist of two 7p-7a shifts and two 4p-12a shifts weekly. The technologist would be responsible for performing CT and X-ray as needed. This Apprentice position is applicable for CT Apprentice, Tech 1 with less than five years of Rad tech or similar work experience and CT Apprentice, Tech 2 with five years or more of Rad tech or similar experience. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's Degree Graduate from accredited Radiography program.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT Upon Hire required Or CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Must remain in good standing with the NMTCB Upon Hire required Or CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with the ARRT (N) Upon Hire required
• AHA OR ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
