POSITION SUMMARY The Intern, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Social Impact will support programs and initiatives for the department’s CSR and diversity and inclusion (D&I) activities as well as a variety of administrative tasks. The Internship will run from June to August and require 3 days in person at the 25 Madison office.

Responsibilities

  • Research potential non-profit partner organizations to ensure they align with Sony’s philanthropic pillars of giving
  • Attend and take notes for CSR & Social Impact meetings with internal stakeholders and external non-profit partners
  • Assist in organizing and executing virtual and in-person employee engagement and volunteer opportunities and activities
  • Manage and organize CSR & Social Impact digital files, documentation, and physical storage closet to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance
  • Assist in tracking and maintaining employee volunteer calendar and statistics
  • Assist in maintaining updated Corporate Membership information for cultural institutions and track employee use
  • Assist with executing strategies and programs around key cultural/heritage months
  • Support the department’s efforts to support the Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs) at SCA and across the U.S. operating companies
  • Assist Corporate Communications department with company-wide distribution of relevant updates and events from D&I and non-profit partners
  • Help update, design, and maintain CSR & Social Impact SharePoint sites, internal newsletters, and team communication channels to ensure timely, engaging, and consistent information sharing
  • Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above
