About The Position
Travels to UFJPI and UFHealth on and off campus clinic locations to provide coverage for Medical Assistant vacancies. Provides excellent customer service and greets patients entering the department/practice. A multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent - required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required - or at time of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS)- required - at time of hire
- Driver's License Florida - required - at time of hire
- Current Florida Drivers License and proof of auto insurance required at time of hire
- 80% - 100% travel
Nice To Haves
- 1 year - medical assistant
- 2 years -Two to four years clerical customer service experience - ideally in a health care related industry
- 1 year - One year experience with third party payors and computer experience for in putting data and reviewing patient demographic material
- Medical Terminology Certificate - preferred- within 30 days
