About The Position

Under the leadership of the Central Sterile Processing Supervisor, demonstrates
competency in indentification, decontamination, processing and sterilization of
surgical instruments including endoscopy scopes. Has a thorough understanding of
processing and sterilization of surgical instruments and endoscopy scopes. Has a
thorough understanding of processing equipment, including but not limited to,
sterilizers,washer decontaminators, medivators and ultra sonic cleaners
following a detailed orientation.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Central Sterile Technician certification (CRCST) requirement within 12 months of hire.
• Certification in Endoscope Reprocessing (CER)within 24 months of hire.
• Conscientious regard for technical and minute procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) and/or Certification in Endoscope Reprocessing (CER)
• Previous experience in sterile processing and/or previous experience processing endoscopy scopes.
