The CSP Account Management & Benefits Operations Intern will support key administrative, analytical, and operational functions across both teams. This role is ideal for a detail ‑ oriented, organized individual interested in gaining hands ‑ on experience in benefits administration, client servicing, and renewal operations. The intern will collaborate closely with team members to ensure data accuracy, support renewal activities, and assist in quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications
  • Interest in benefits administration, HR operations, or client service preferred
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing desk-related tasks.
  • Prolonged use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse, requiring repetitive motion.
  • Ability to lift and carry office supplies or equipment up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional bending, reaching, and twisting to retrieve files or supplies.
  • Ability to walk throughout the office, including moving between different departments or meeting rooms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone or video conferencing.
  • Ability to focus and maintain attention for long periods while working on various tasks.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with carrier certifications and required audits to ensure compliance and accurate documentation.
  • Prepare and submit Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs) to Alight for client renewals.
  • Add and update Medical Health Plan (MHP) options within internal spreadsheets for HRC distribution.
  • Update and format CSP slide decks for Open Enrollment (OE) presentations.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of side‑by‑side plan comparisons for renewal consultations.
  • Audit and maintain the enrollment log to ensure accurate and complete data.
  • Assist with ongoing QA initiatives to validate enrollment data, plan configurations, and operational workflows.
  • Review the Reconciliation page in Salesforce to confirm all information reflects the latest renewal updates and carrier confirmations.
