Job Description Summary: The Network Services Benefit Coordinator is a multi-functional role requiring cross-training in Intake referral processing, initial benefits verification, and authorizations. This position is responsible for accurately following established process steps to verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, and determine patient coverage and financial responsibility for services, while meeting KPI goals and maintaining high-quality, compliant documentation. Job Description: CSI Network Services, an Option Care Health company, partners with home health and hospice agencies providing access to payers’ members for a smooth and seamless transition of in-home care including skilled nursing, skilled therapies, and hospice services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Intake/Admissions Experience or Medical Billing/Collections.

Responsibilities

  • Work, apply, and consistently follow established intake and benefits process steps to achieve assigned daily KPIs for both Intake and Benefits, while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Utilize company-provided training resources and tools to support consistency, accuracy, and cross-department alignment.
  • Communicate all payer updates or changes in a timely manner.
  • Align with your Manager based on job scope and responsibilities within CSI and Option Care.
  • Develop into a multi-functional contributor within CSI FE.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to review benefit information, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized documentation.
