About The Position
Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos is seeking a competent individual to join their cage team. This role is responsible for performing "even money" exchanges with patrons and employees, maintaining thorough knowledge of and compliance with all cage policies and procedures, and providing excellent customer service. The company's mission is to provide economic stability for the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians, emphasizing core values of Fun, Integrity, Communication, and Teamwork.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Prior experience handling cash is necessary
Responsibilities
- Have thorough knowledge of, and maintain strict compliance with, all policies and procedures related to the cage operations.
- Perform “even money” exchanges of currency, chips, tokens, and coins with patrons.
- Exchange coin, chips, and tokens with the vault cashier to maintain adequate currency levels.
