The Marketing Manager for Connection Systems North America will work across Connection Systems product lines to develop a deep understanding of customer decision makers and their needs on the path to the electrified, software defined vehicle. S/he will use those insights to create sales tools, digital-first collateral / product catalogs, and execute account-based marketing and channel management strategies in partnership with customer facing teams. The role will report to the Marketing Director, Engineered Components.

  • Work with regional customer facing teams on account-based marketing plans and execution, with a focus on the highest priority customers and growth product areas.
  • Create and execute channel-specific marketing plans for OEM and wiring tiers customers.
  • Develop creative, compelling, customizable digital campaigns (direct email and social), sales tools, collateral / product catalog updates and other digital-first materials.
  • Educate the market, customer facing teams and channel partners on the product positioning capabilities, features and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with customer facing teams to tailor messaging, content, presentation materials and targeted events to priority customers' needs.
  • Coordinate with marketing centers of excellence to execute the plan, including digital to maintain and enhance digital-first sales tools, including the e-catalogue, social media to create and launch targeted social campaigns and build awareness, and events to develop and execute tech events, plant tours and critical meetings.
  • Provide market insights as context for innovation and communicate that to internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage a data-driven approach to evaluating campaigns using relevant KPIs and customer feedback, and use data from campaigns to help customer facing teams win more business.
  • 5+ years of total experience in Technology Marketing or Product Management within the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and executing product and customer marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to understand complex solutions and communicate them in an accessible way.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Office tools.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other Adobe tools an advantage.
  • Demonstrated complex stakeholder management track record.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high intellect, collaborative global environment with high performance expectations and ownership of results.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information technology or business administration.

  • Must be a local resident of the metro Detroit area with ability to work on site.
