About The Position

Crossing Guard – Part Time – Kansas City, MO Former Military / Law Enforcement Encouraged To Apply!! Securitas is hiring Part-Time Crossing Guards to help keep students, families, and neighborhoods safe. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy being active, helping others, and working independently while still being part of a supportive team. Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Security, Law Enforcement, OR Military experience a plus!!

Responsibilities

• Assisting with safe crossing of pedestrians
• Providing clear directions and friendly guidance
• Monitoring surroundings and identifying potential safety concerns
• Setting up and maintaining barriers or signage
• Communicating calmly and professionally with the public
• Responding appropriately to unexpected situations or emergencies
