About The Position

At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference. Position: Cross Dock I. Shift: 6:00AM-2:30PM. What's the Short Version? The Cross Dock I unloads and loads incoming and outgoing trailers, and sorts, palletizes, and moves product. What Will You Be Doing? Use a Radio Frequency (RF) unit to track all movement of product entering and leaving building by scanning designated labels and barcodes. Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures. Use an electric power jack to move pallets and/or product as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• May need basic math skills in counting and quantity.
• May need to complete and maintain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification every two years.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.
• Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit.
• Ability to work in fast paced, high volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Able to work both independently and within a team.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Essential days or overtime may be required.
• Ability to read, write, and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• May need basic math skills in counting and quantity.
