About The Position
Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is the longest active multispecialty, same day surgery center in the Hagerstown area! The facility has 1 Operating room with general anesthesia capabilities, 2 Treatment rooms with local/ monitored anesthesia care capabilities, 1 Preoperative area and 1 Post Anesthesia Care Area. CVSC specializes in Pain Management, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Dental/Oral surgery, Gynecology, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry, and Endoscopy. Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Benefits
- W2 $230 per hr. and paid medical malpractice
- 1099 $235 per hr. must provide own medical malpractice
