About The Position

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Full-Time Independent Practice CRNA to join our team at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. We are looking for a provider to anchor our mid-week coverage with a recurring Wednesday First Call (24-Hour) shift. Compensation & Benefits: Annualized Salary (Based on Experience | Inclusive of call stipend): 5+ Years: $415,611.20 2–5 Years: $390,609.60 0–2 Years: $380,604.80 Sign-On Bonus: $40,000-$60,000 (dependent on time of commitment) Paid Time Off: 7 Weeks PTO CME Allowance: $3,000 annually Health | Dental | Vision | Life | Disability | Malpractice 401(k) | Flexible spending accounts Practice Environment Facility: St. Joseph’s Medical Center (Stockton, CA) – A 355-bed regional hospital and Level III Trauma Center. Schedule: Every Wednesday – First Call (In-House 24 Hour). Call Expectations: In-house shifts with post-call days off. Balance: Remaining hours scheduled flexibly to ensure work-life balance. Practice Model: Full Independent Practice. No medical direction. Scope: Full scope of practice including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, central lines, and high-acuity cases. Team: Work alongside 14n physicians, 30+ independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 resident physicians. Case Mix: ~14,300 annual cases including General, Trauma, Cardiac (~800/yr), OB (3,000 births/yr), and Interventional Radiology. Academic: Work in a supportive teaching environment alongside the Anesthesia Residency program.

Requirements

  • Active California RN and CRNA License.
