About The Position
ICC Healthcare is seeking a critical care intensivist to join the growing team at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
Requirements
- Board certified/board eligible Critical Care (all Critical Care Specialties will be considered)
- Ability to obtain TX Licensure
- At least 2 years intensivist experience preferred
- Strong Interest and Exposure to MCS, CVICU, Cardiac ICU
- 34 ICU Beds- CLOSED ICU- Primarily Cardiac/CVICU and some Medical ICU
- Available ASAP- open to considering new Fellows with strong Cardiac Exposure/Experience
Responsibilities
- 15 (12-hour) shifts per month, mix of days and nights (5-6 nights per month)
- Staffing model: 2 Physicians during the day, 1 Physician and 1 APP at night
- Clinical bedside teaching opportunities to support PCCM and Surgical Trauma Critical Care Fellowships
- Strong relationships and integration with Cardiac Team for co-management of patients
