As the Crisis Worker/Community Liaison, you will join a team of dedicated, compassionate and dynamic professionals at the Sex Abuse Treatment Center, where you can support patients who have suffered trauma from sexual abuse. In this role, you will provide crisis intervention counseling to sexual assault victims and their families; coordinate the medical-legal process and the proper collection and transfer of medical-legal evidence; prepare written reports and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of any changes in protocol; provide information to victims about the legal system and options for police reporting; offer assistance and emotional support; work with community groups to resolve issues that impact sexual abuse service; and deliver presentations and community outreach efforts to raise awareness about sexual violence and SATC services. We are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, an appreciation for community outreach and social service and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.
