Horizon Health & Wellness provides extensive training for Crisis Specialists including suicide assessment, referral resources, crisis intervention and treatment planning, in-home safety, crisis de-escalation skills, critical incident debriefing, CPR/First Aid and more. A Crisis Specialist provides face to face crisis assessment and intervention to individuals from all age groups in the Pinal County community who are experiencing behavioral health crises. This position shall intervene to alleviate the participant’s immediate social, emotional, or environmental crisis and assess, evaluate, triage, and refer the participant for appropriate follow-up treatment to support a return to an effective lifestyle. This position may also provide outreach and engagement to outpatient clients as needed. Horizon provides mobile crisis teams 7 days/week 365 days/year. Full time Crisis staff work four 10-hour shifts per week (with 3 days off per week). Various shift days and times are available. We are currently looking for qualified candidates to work within our Apache Junction, Casa Grande or Florence locations.
