The Role You Play Supervises day-to-day operations of 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Unit and crisis department. Supports staff, provides disciplinary, training and corrective feedback, maintains staffing needs and schedule, maintains policies and procedures of CSU. Provides agency and community support and education regarding mental health services and resources in the community. Coordinate and oversee staff when working at the CSU as CMIIs, Crisis Case Managers, Crisis Mental Health Technicians, Crisis Peer Supports and Crisis Interns in performance of their duties. Set the clinical tone for the CSU to ensure that mission and vision is executed and supported by all CSU staff. Perform duties as a CM II, Crisis Case Manager, and Crisis Mental Health Technician Coordinate with the Crisis Director, Crisis Clinical Manger and Crisis Administrative Assistant to ensure that the operational environment meets clinical care needs while providing responsible stewardship to the organization and its stakeholders. Support clinical reviews and treatment team reviews. Identify and address education and clinical training needs as identified. Ensure proper staffing ratios of Crisis department in coordination with Team Leads. Hire, supervise and evaluate a qualified staff and ensure they are trained to meet the needs of the program. Monitor performance, document concerns, provide feedback and take corrective action as necessary. Participate with the Crisis Director and Crisis Clinical Manager in program planning, promotion and problem solving to promote client satisfaction and program growth. Help build and maintain program Policy and Procedures according to KDADS specifications. Meet and comply with all administrative and clinical documentation requirements for Crisis staff. Coordinate and ensure all facility requirements are up to date including inspections for fire, sprinkler, licensure, etc. Attend and actively participate in clinical supervision. Aid in access to recommended services such as inpatient hospitalization, substance abuse services, outpatient therapy, Youth Community Services, Adult Community Services, and other psychiatric services as needed. Collaborate with other Pawnee team members and other outside providers in the coordination of appropriate services. Foster a positive and constructive environment to ensure that patients are treated effectively with dignity and respect along with providing community education and support. Able to assess, make decisions, and are willing provide deescalating skills in intense situations. Who You Are The ideal candidate is experienced with healthcare operations and has a vision and drive to match Pawnee’s upcoming development as an organization. They should have the desire and expertise to balance high-quality client care with business needs and responsibilities. This position also requires the ability to be on-call as it will co-supervise our 24/7 Crisis operations.
