Site Crisis Management Specialist Location: Abilene, TX & Shackelford Sites Function: Global Protective Services (GPS) / Crisis Management Role Overview The Site Crisis Management Specialist leads day-to-day crisis management readiness, coordination, and reporting activities at the Abilene, TX and Shackelford sites. This site-focused specialist role supports local incident management for cross-functional events impacting site operations and serves as a critical link between site leadership, cross-functional partners, and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This role operates within the broader GPS Crisis Management organization and ensures site preparedness through effective incident coordination, planning, training delivery, tabletop exercises, and mass notification testing. Key Responsibilities Incident Coordination & Response Lead and support incident coordination during critical events and cross-functional incidents, including assessment, response, escalation, stabilization, and recovery activities. Serve as the primary on-site liaison between site leadership, cross-line-of-business (xLoB) partners, and the GSOC during incidents. Log, triage, and track local incidents, ensuring accurate categorization, documentation, metrics, and timely reporting to the Crisis Management organization. Preparedness & Planning Maintain and continuously update site-specific Crisis and Incident Management Plans, playbooks, contact trees, and response checklists. Monitor emerging risks impacting the sites (e.g., weather, infrastructure, security threats) and coordinate proactive mitigation efforts with the GSOC, GPS partners, and site risk managers. Support audits, compliance reviews, and site readiness assessments related to crisis and incident management. Training, Exercises & Testing Facilitate and document local tabletop exercises, drills, and after-action reviews to assess preparedness and drive continuous improvement. Conduct periodic site mass notification tests, maintaining testing schedules, scenarios, results, and remediation plans in coordination with the GSOC and key stakeholders. Deliver site-level crisis management training to improve awareness, readiness, and response effectiveness. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Drive timely, clear, and consistent stakeholder communications during incidents in alignment with corporate communication guidelines. Ensure accurate dissemination of situation status, decisions, and required actions to internal stakeholders. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated response and alignment during incidents.
