Under direct supervision, the Crisis Intervention Specialist serves as a primary support and case manager, providing screening, assessment, and assistance in linking services needed by members served and their family to overcome crises. This role is for The Windsor Center, a short-stay crisis stabilization unit (CSU) that offers 24/7 services to adults and youth, aiming to increase access to crisis services, reduce inpatient hospitalization, decrease law enforcement involvement in mental health crises, and strengthen existing outpatient behavioral health services.
