As a member of our team, you will… Criminal Justice & Public Health Internship Opportunities: Food Safety and Sanitation Auditing Internship - $15.75/hour As a Food Safety and Sanitation Auditing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in food safety and sanitation within a dynamic amusement park environment. This role is perfect for individuals interested in pursuing a career in food safety, public health, or hospitality management. Public Health Internship - $15.00/hour Our Public Health Internship offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. Security Internship - $16.50/hour Our Security Internship program gives college students in Criminal Justice and related degree fields real-life experience interacting with the public while enforcing park policies and protecting employees, guests and company property.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be currently pursuing a college degree or a recent graduate (within 180 days of the start of employment/program at Michigan's Adventure).
  • Commit to working at Michigan's Adventure and completing intern program requirements.
  • Ability to work at minimum 24 hours per week AND be available to work/attend intern program activities as well as work on weekends/peak days.
  • Ability and comfort with working in both indoor and outdoor environments that may include a variety of weather conditions (rain, heat, snow, wind, etc.).

  • Make guests happy by ensuring they have the best day possible and helping them build lifelong memories.
  • Provide our guests with a safe environment to enjoy their visit.
  • Interact and work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Gain first-hand experience and knowledge working directly in the field.
  • Meet and network with other college interns as part of our program.
  • Get valuable opportunities to meet, engage, and learn directly from park leaders and management.
  • Attend and complete several leadership training classes to expand and develop your leadership, knowledge and expertise.
  • Attend business seminars taught by park leaders and management where you can learn about all the facets of the theme park business in Hospitality.
