Criminal Justice Course Editor (Contract)
About The Position
Course Editors play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our credit-recommended college courses. This project aims to enhance and update college-level courses to ensure they meet current academic standards and industry requirements. This is an online, remote contract role. All work is paid hourly at $15/hour. Project Description You will review and edit existing college-level Criminal Justice course structure and materials. This is expected to include tasks such as (but not limited to): Evaluating and adjusting recommended updates to existing course structure Reviewing course learning outcomes and competencies for accuracy and alignment Editing skill-oriented course sections and ensuring proper organization Reviewing and refining response assignment prompts and rubrics Evaluating existing multiple choice questions for quality and accuracy
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Forensic Science, Public Safety, or a closely related field
- Experience teaching Criminal Justice courses in a college or university setting
- Experience creating, updating, or revising courses at a college or university level
- Strong working knowledge of the U.S. criminal justice system, including law enforcement, courts, and corrections
