Requirements

• Experience in MN criminal defense law, with a minimum of three years in practice.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research and develop evidence-based defense strategies.
• Proven track record of effectively representing clients in court and negotiating favorable outcomes.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and provide personalized legal advice.
• Proficiency in preparing and filing legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with current criminal law and legal precedents to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment while being a proactive team player.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in criminal defense cases, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build strong, evidence-based defense strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique situations and provide personalized legal advice.
• Prepare and file legal documents, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
• Negotiate with prosecutors to seek favorable plea deals or dismissals when appropriate.
