About The Position

Rose Legal Services is seeking a Criminal Defense Attorney licensed in Illinois who is passionate about courtroom advocacy and client representation. This role involves handling court proceedings, communicating with clients, and conducting consultations with prospective clients. The ideal candidate has criminal law experience and excels in client communication. Both recent graduates and experienced attorneys are encouraged to apply. As a Responsible Attorney, you will manage a caseload based on Illinois jurisdictions and be responsible for: Appearing in court for hearings, motions, and trials Meeting with clients to review discoveries and negotiate resolutions Communicating with prosecutors, judges, and court staff Conducting legal investigations and drafting pleadings and motions Handling consultations with potential new clients Providing legal analysis and advice throughout the case lifecycle Collaborating with colleagues and staff to resolve matters efficiently Maintaining organized and up-to-date case files You will report to the Supervising Attorney and collaborate closely with the Client Care Team to deliver ean xcellent client experience.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active Illinois law license (required)
• Strong technology and computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
