Criminal Charging Clerk
About The Position
The charging pool team is the hub of where the criminal process of what the District Attorney's Office does and begins the process of prosecution. Candidate must have: Maturity and excellent people skills, should be detail oriented and enjoy working on a team and understanding of team dynamics Demonstrate ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism General knowledge of operating a personal computer, and specific input of numbers and names Work collaboratively but separately, in a non-adversarial manner, with other team employees, Assistant District Attorneys, and sometimes Judges and police officers Enter a criminal charge into software program from beginning to end Maintain confidentiality
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Employment of at least 1 year’s job experience (preferred)
- Excellent typing skills
- Microsoft Word experience required
- Must pass background check
- Must have State driver’s license
