About The Position

The Warehouse (Crib) Attendant role is critical to our maintenance and operations teams. You’ll act as the connector between maintenance and parts inventory — handling requests at the crib window, managing stock, and ensuring parts flow is efficient and accurate. This role requires someone detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable using inventory systems and tools like Excel. Experience with SAP is a plus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and reliability.
  • Basic computer skills; comfortable with data entry and spreadsheet work (Microsoft Excel).
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability: standing, walking, lifting (e.g. parts/boxes), bending, possibly lifting up to [50 lbs.
  • Commitment to safety and following procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in inventory management, parts crib, warehouse, or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise Inventory/Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience with cycle counts / regular stock audits.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple requests, and maintain accuracy under pace.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact at the parts/crib window; receive and fulfill part requests from maintenance staff.
  • Locate, issue, and record parts accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain organized crib inventory; ensure parts are stored, tagged/labeled correctly, and easy to retrieve.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Use Microsoft Excel (or other tools) to track part usage, inventory levels, reporting, and data entry.
  • Update inventory in any inventory management systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Monitor stock levels and alert supervisor of low or critical stock or obsolete parts.
  • Communicate with maintenance staff regarding part availability, delays, or substitutions.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the crib area; follow all safety protocols.
  • Assist with related warehouse/stockroom duties as needed.
