About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards as well as processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently. A Crew Member is required to be a bright, sincere, engaging, and energetic individual with a passion for exceptional customer service above and beyond that of other restaurants. The Crew Member must also possess the ability to maintain order and provide high quality food quickly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation and process payment transactions
• Ability to use knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment safely
• Ability to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others
• Ability to read and follow recipes in the manner in which they are written
• Must be able to work in a casino environment with possible exposure to secondhand smoke
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Ensures that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, exemplary product knowledge and all other aspects of guest service
• Processes POS transactions accurately and adheres to proper cash handling procedures
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, tables, counters, and restrooms at all times
• Responds appropriately to guest concerns and communicates to management
• Slices product and prepares recipe according to Jersey Mike’s standards
• Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job
• Abides by the established Jersey Mike’s uniform and grooming standards
• Answers phones according to standards
• Maintains an awareness of all menu items
• Adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Cleans and maintain kitchen appliances such as, but not limited to, griddles and slicers
• Additional duties as assigned
