About The Position

Principal Responsibilities: Embrace and monitor key performance indicators and metrics driving accountability for crew utilization, travel, performance metrics, retention, and other key metrics. Responsible for crew dispatch and travel ensuring vessels are effectively staffed. Keep abreast of relevant maritime rules and regulations pertaining to licenses, STCW requirements, updated revisions and all training requirements.Guiding crew performance management and employee coaching and corrective action for vessel employees.Responsible for crew travel budget, driving continuous improvement.Coach and develop crew to improve their skills and support their professional growth. Responsible for maintaining and auditing crew training documentation.Conduct new hire orientation for vessel employees.Perform on-call rotation ensuring coverage over holidays and weekends. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience in maritime crew management preferred. Associate Degree in Management or related field preferred. Data analysis and metrics competencies with ability to interpret, apply, and adapt to findings. Highly adaptive to changes in process due to improvements in technology.Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and team building skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
