About The Position

Just-In Time Moving and Storage is a local moving company that has been operating in the Phoenix area for over 18 years. Starting between $22 and $25/hour plus (Depending on Experience), tips, and opportunities for overtime SUMMARY: Responsible for leading services for clients in addition to guiding and training movers. Drives and/or leads assigned truck or team. Assist in moves to include household and commercial locations, locally and interstate. Including packing, wrapping, boxing, inventory, loading and unloading from origin to destination. Represents the company in a professional manner and ensure a positive customer experience.

Requirements

Must have prior moving experience
Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 150lbs.
Must be professional and on time.
Basic knowledge of safety equipment usage.
Able to adapt to moves as follows: short distances for local moves or long-distance, cross-country relocations that may require some overnight travel.
Demonstrate strong and professional leadership.
2 plus years of moving experience.
A high school diploma or equivalent would be preferable.
Valid unexpired Driver's License & clean driving record.
Experience with moving and driving a 26' truck.
Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Responsibilities

Lead team in a professional manner.
Follow policy, procedures, and instructions delivered by management.
Help crew daily with moves.
Main point of contact for our client's belongings.
Run your team efficiently and effectively.
Exceed customer expectations.
Ensure trucks are inspected daily.
Maintain a clean and orderly truck, sweeping, discard trash, etc.
Notify management of low or depleted inventory.
Assist or perform walk-through from origin to destination.
Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with the Operations Manager.
Represent yourself and Just-In Time Moving by being respectful and courteous to customers, staff, team members, and the public.
