About The Position

RRC is seeking a talented Survey Crew Hand to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Pflugerville, TX office. RRC is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that specializes in energy projects, particularly renewable energy, throughout the United States. Requirements

  • Clean driving record
  • Able to carry a maximum 75 lbs. of equipment to multiple job sites. Ability to sit, stand, walk, pull and push.
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally from Crew Chiefs
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ensure accuracy. There is very little room for error in this position.
  • Simple mathematics skills
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Operate conventional and GPS survey equipment accurately and efficiently measure topographic features and boundary evidence in support of land development, transportation, utility, energy, and land surveying projects.
  • Set up total station, accurately gather survey data.
  • Must be able to locate property corners using a pin finder, recorded deed or subdivision plans or a metes and bounds legal description
  • Must be able to run line work.
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally.
