Credit Verification Representative - Informative Research
About The Position
Informative Research, a division of Stewart Title is seeking a Credit Verification Representative who will be responsible for conducting credit investigations and analyzing credit information pertaining to loans. In addition, to verifying and updating credit information as requested by clients in support of the mortgage underwriting process, provides operational support to the production team through the course of the credit report supplement process. The Credit Verification Representative will sit 100% onsite in the Irving, TX office. The shifts are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, 9:00am - 5:30pm, or 9:30am- 6:00pm. Compensation: $22/hr.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
Responsibilities
- High volume processing of credit supplement request in a call center environment
- Investigates all available sources of credit and financial information.
- Provides credit information and references for customers, loan officers, or other agencies as requested.
- Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
- Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities
- Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion
- Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members
- Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
