About The Position

What you’ll do: Working closely with the administrative team, you will be responsible for the following: Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will: Provide positive consumer experience to all customers. Review of customer portfolios to ensure current accounts. Analyze data including, financial statements, credit reports, etc. Process new applications and customer credit extensions within the Credit Policy limits Ensuring all statements are accurately processed and communicated in a timely manner. Communicate with customers on outstanding accounts. Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive customer credit files Approving interest write offs within the Credit Policy limits. Scan and electronically organize member files. Back-up reception by answering phones, taking payments, and other customer requests at the front counter as needed. Clerical duties and projects as requested. Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude. Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures Participate in maintaining location image and housekeeping standards. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent GED;
  • Ability to handle difficult customers delicately and professionally
  • You have excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • You are highly motivated and willing to be trained;
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
  • You believe in maintaining a respectful and honest work place;

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Credit and Collections an asset
