Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $140,000 year at the commencement of employment. Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of real estate valuation experience in at least one of the following: commercial real estate, data centers or residential real estate
  • Experience with valuations and markets in the US
  • Ability to build internal valuation and due diligence tools

Nice To Haves

  • State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license, MAI, AI-GRS or RICs preferred
  • Experience/knowledge of Western European and Asian (specifically Australia) markets is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

  • Administer the collateral loan appraisal review process and in consultation with the Team Lead opine on the reliability of the appraisal by ensuring assumptions are supported and reasonable
  • Ensure compliance of the collateral loan appraisal with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), FIRREA, and internal policies
  • Determine if market values have become challenged and make recommendations to the Global Head of Credit for FSL regarding updating valuations for underlying properties
  • Develop processes and procedures to create efficiencies and improvements to monitor market activity
  • Manage vendor relationships as a part of the review process.
  • Develop forms and tools to streamline processes and create efficiencies in managing appraisal review process for complete underwriting review
  • Assists with the review of internal procedures and makes recommendations to the Team Lead.
