With access to the robust S&P CaptialQ Platform, our credit risk underwriters have the latest cutting-edge technology to assist in our financial and credit risk analysis. As a tight-knit but growing department, there are incredible opportunities for growth within and outside our team. Role Description: As a Credit Risk Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our Credit Risk Department, primarily related to our Self-Insured Workers’ Compensation Surety Bonds and Large Casualty Insurance product lines. In this mid-level, non-exempt position, you will provide high-quality administrative and operational support that keeps our team running efficiently and effectively. You will perform a variety of administrative tasks including data entry, responding to data requests, maintaining files and records, and communicating—both verbally and in writing—with internal and external contacts. Your ability to stay organized, manage shifting priorities, and handle multiple time-sensitive deadlines will be critical to your success. In this role, you will bring a dependable, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset to your work. You will collaborate closely with team members, promote a strong team-first environment, and fully embrace Safety National’s core values of Relationships, Integrity, Teamwork, Balance, and Stability in your daily interactions. Non-exempt: Please note, this position is classified as Non-Exempt under federal wage and hour laws. As such, you will be required to clock in and out for all hours worked and will be eligible for overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a given workweek.

Requirements

  • Must meet one of the following requirements:
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in the insurance or finance industry
  • Associate degree with 3 or more years of experience in a business or corporate role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be detail oriented, analytical, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO.
  • All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
