About The Position

The Credit Manager will be responsible for approving or declining and issuing lines of credit to customers; conducting credit investigations, ensuring customers with delinquent accounts are contacted and proper collections procedures are followed. Helps process credit application in store or over the phone, take payments on accounts and creates sales contracts. Conducts daily collection calls to customers with payments due or to customers with past due accounts via telephone and home visits as needed. Requirements

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Basic reading, numerical reasoning and comprehension skills
  • Great listening ability
  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to work variable hour schedule
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Job requires "F" Endorsement; must provide proof of "F Endorsement"
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working in warehouse and delivery environments as needed
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the leadership role
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required for store support)
