Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 1+ years’ experience as a Credit Analyst
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • KYC skills (Know Your Customer) – being able to research and evaluate data and information to determine compliance to all company and legal requirements, applying the KYC information to make informed decisions and solve problems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Sense of discretion and willingness to maintain strict confidentiality of pertinent and sensitive information
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Excellent proficiency skills in all MS Office programs
  • Immediately available preferred
  • Reading of Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred
  • Diploma or above in Accounting or Finance discipline or equivalent experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Review
  • MS Office and Accounting Systems

Responsibilities

  • Enter, update and retrieve information for customer applications received
  • Determine credit worthiness of applicants by assessing creditworthiness of existing or prospective customers
  • Designate degree of risk involved in extending credit by examining financial transactions and credit history case by case (applications, statements, balance sheets, legal documents etc.)
  • Ensure all approved applications comply with company and legal criteria and requirements
  • Respond to all credit risk inquiries from customers and the various sales teams
  • Review and deal with all sales team requests presented for the assessment of new and existing credit limits
  • Perform ah-hoc tasks and assignments that might be handed to you
  • Create new and update existing customer accounts
  • Support daily Credit review and Order release functionalities
  • Communicate with other departments, as well as management to alert them to any problems and/or high-risk situations
  • Adhere to credit policy and guidelines
