What would you do as a Credit and Collections Manager
As the Credit and Collections Manager at PTI Technologies, you will play a crucial role in overseeing full-cycle accounts receivable operations for two aerospace manufacturing locations. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the creditworthiness of current and potential customers, establishing credit limits, and managing special credit arrangements. You'll lead and develop the accounts receivable team, driving performance and accountability while maintaining and improving credit policies and internal controls. The position also involves monitoring collections on delinquent accounts, collaborating with sales and finance teams to resolve billing disputes accurately, and ensuring timely application of cash receipts. In addition, you will provide valuable insights through monthly forecasting and metrics reporting, while identifying opportunities for process automation.
This role is fundamental in optimizing company sales and reducing bad debt losses, contributing directly to the overall financial health of PTI Technologies.
Requirements for this Credit and Collections Manager job
To excel as a Credit and Collections Manager at PTI Technologies, candidates should possess a strong foundation in credit and collections principles, with at least seven years of related experience and two years in a supervisory role. Candidates must also demonstrate excellent language skills to effectively interpret business documents and communicate with diverse audiences.
