About The Position

Working at Arkansas Federal Credit Union GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Analyzes financial data to estimate degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money to businesses or members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Prepare financial statement spreads using financial statement analysis software. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.2. Utilized financial statement spreads to quantify member's personal, business, and global debt service abilities. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.3. Prepare narrative analysis of findings (including cash flow, collateral discussion, guarantor support, background information, market / industry data, financial ratios, etc.) and recommendations for lenders. This duty is performed about 40% of the time.4. Perform annual reviews of business credits in accordance with the credit union's policy. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.5. May assist, coordinate and attend loan committee meetings. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.6. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed annually.7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • 4 year college degree
  • 0-2 years in a specialized field (however acquired) such as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
