About The Position

The primary role of the Sr. Credit Analyst is responsible is to review and prepare financial spreads, real estate valuations, and other financial records. The goal of these duties is to assist the Commercial Banking group in assessing risk, as well as making and documenting sound lending decisions. Sr. Credit Analysts will also be responsible for preparation of loan approval reports, including the assessment of risk and duties related to portfolio management. Additionally, the Sr. Credit Analyst will prepare and review of periodic management reports related to the lending and credit risk functions.

Requirements

  • Must possess sufficient education and/or experience to understand and evaluate complex financial statements, tax returns, and commercial real estate appraisals.
  • 2-3 years of previous lending experience or loan underwriting experience.
  • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of all aspects of credit risk and possess the willingness and ability to gain a thorough understanding of LNB Loan Policy and all regulatory guidelines related commercial lending.
  • Technical skills necessary to evaluate and manage software resources used by the credit administration department.
  • Some overnight travel may be required.
