About The Position

The Credit Analyst Intern supports the Credit Administration and Lending teams
by assisting with credit‑related analytical tasks and special projects. This
position provides exposure to lending operations, financial analysis, and risk
management within a banking environment. The intern will assist with a real
estate tax project and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze information and work with financial or numerical data
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Interest in banking, lending, or credit analysis

Responsibilities

• Assist credit analysts with routine credit‑related analytical tasks under supervision
• Support basic financial statement spreading and data entry activities
• Prepare and maintain internal tracking tools or reports as assigned
• Assist with data analysis, research, and reconciliation activities related to credit administration
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements
• Provide general support to lending and credit staff as needed
• Review all real estate‑secured loans to identify properties subject to real estate taxes
• Research and verify that 2025 real estate taxes have been paid for applicable collateral
• Compare tax payment information to internal tracking records or external sources
• Identify unpaid, delinquent, or missing tax information and report findings to Credit Administration staff
• Assist with updating internal records to reflect verified tax payment status
• Participate in department projects or audits as assigned
• Assist with process improvement or research initiatives related to credit administration
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support department operations
