About The Position

Our client, a Global Financial Services company is seeking a detail oriented Credit Analyst with expertise in Accounts Payable. This role focuses on monitoring client and end debtor performance, providing actionable recommendations, and ensuring the integrity of the collateral portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to support effective risk management and reporting processes.

Requirements

  • Analytical Skills: Expertise in analyzing financial data to identify trends and make informed recommendations.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong precision in reviewing and interpreting financial documents and reports.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate findings and insights to various stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in financial software and tools, including Excel, SQL, and financial modeling platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Client Analysis: Evaluate clients' financial positions and their ability to meet current obligations. Analyze portfolio size, concentration, existing liens, and workers compensation status for potential impact.
  • Accounts Receivable Research: Assess accounts receivable for aging, concentration risks, and other critical factors. Investigate end debtors financial viability and creditworthiness using available financial and credit data.
  • Transactional Review: Identify anomalies in transactional information that may affect the company's position and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Risk Identification: Promptly detect potential risk factors and communicate findings to relevant teams to mitigate exposure.
  • Data Reporting: Conduct thorough research and present accurate, well-organized reports on the client base, ensuring timely task completion.
  • Client Relations: Maintain professional and effective communication with clients and debtors, fostering positive working relationships.
  • Compliance and Teamwork: Perform duties in alignment with company policies and procedures while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out other tasks as assigned to support organizational goals.
