About The Position

We are looking for a Credit Admin Specialist to join our Credit Admin team at Open Bank! The Credit Admin Specialist will be responsible for handling a wide range of tasks within the Credit Admin department. This includes supporting the day-to-day administration of credit and senior team members, as well as assisting with loan documentation, reporting, and compliance related tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred.
  • Prior experience in office support roles, credit administration, lending, or bank operations required.
  • Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
  • Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, core banking process systems, e-mail and on-line banking programs.
  • Good analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to retain broad knowledge of lending tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of lending operations and client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Credit Admin Reports.
  • Research and collect data for various loan-related reports and projects.
  • Order appraisal reports and documenting the qualifications of appraisers and environmental assessors.
  • Support the maintenance of credit records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain credit policies and procedures as needed.
  • Prepare routine credit-related reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support credit administration functions by performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure efficient departmental workflow.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring proper recordkeeping.
