About The Position

This is a Temporary/On-Call Subject Matter Expert in understanding specific needs and requirements of each client to maintain file compliance as it relates to strike activity. This individual will review and understand clinical credential documentation to maintain professional compliance. Maintain all credentialing responsibilities to achieve established goals and timetables.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • The minimum related experience required for this position is 1 year in a staffing environment or 1 year of call center experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of eRecruit preferable.
  • Demonstrates ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Demonstrates effective organizational skills and time management skills to achieve performance expectations.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in schedule and tasks.
  • Strong decision-making skills including the ability to extrapolate from written procedures and policies.
  • Effective prioritization, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced environment with the objective of meeting Company performance expectations.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and exercise extreme care in handling company information protected from trade secret disclosure.

  • Previous USN experience preferred.

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a keyboard and workstation with low periods of reaching and standing.
  • This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
  • This position requires the incumbent to travel.
  • Traveling conditions may increase working hours above the minimum working hours listed above.
  • This position requires regular contact with job candidates on a daily basis.
  • It also requires regular internal contact with the Credentialing, Nurse Management, Human Resources, Payroll, and Information Technology departments.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure, by visual examination, that individual candidate file contains accurate and current required professional and medical documents for specific assignment(s).
  • Maintain all candidate files in an organized manner in accordance with department and Joint Commission procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and pertinence of all clinically required candidate documents.
  • Responsible for handling highly confidential paperwork on a daily basis.
  • Acts as a liaison between candidates and U.S. Nursing regarding internal and external clinical requirements.
  • Responsible for handling PII/PHI on a daily basis.
  • Utilize information system(s) as processes and procedures require.
  • Resolve candidate questions and concerns in a timely and diplomatic manner.
  • Initiate outbound calls (as applicable) to candidates to ensure accurate and complete files.
  • Responsible for efficient and accurate entry of allied candidates from subcontractor into eRecruit (as applicable).
  • Requires on-going coordination, communication and/or team problem solving between departments or functional areas for work production and service quality.
  • Performs additional duties as requested by management.
