About The Position

Marino is an award-winning PR and marketing agency with a fast-growing social, creative, advertising, and digital team. We are seeking a talented Creative Video Strategist to work with our digital, advertising, public relations, social media, and branding teams to develop and execute creative ideas, photo and video projects across marketing and communications channels. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who understands how to effectively tell stories and move people to action for Public Affairs, B2C and B2B clients including large-scale real estate developers, international food brands, high priority legislative issues in New York state and beyond. The Creative Video Strategist’s main responsibility is executing the day-to-day video content production at the agency and ensuring all client needs are met on time. The Creative Video Strategist will be working with team members across all practice areas at the agency from real estate, to consumer goods, to public affairs. This individual should have great communication and project management skills and work well within a team structure.

Requirements

  • Ability to come up with consistently creative, interesting, and out-of-the-box ideas
  • Technical expertise in video production and editing
  • 2-4 years of comparable work experience
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive while shooting on-site
  • Experience working with B2B and B2C brands
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Creative thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Travel for on-site production shoots around the United States and NYC
  • In-office requirement (three days per week) when not traveling
  • Motion graphics experience

Nice To Haves

  • Have multi-channel digital expertise (display advertising, PPC, advertising and email marketing)
  • Experience leading accounts focused on content strategy and content production, with an emphasis on social media channels

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager and lead on video production and editing projects
  • Execute on video content production to amplify clients’ reputations among target audiences while pushing the agency’s capabilities forward
  • Understand clients’ short-term and long-term goals and work with account managers to develop content that helps to accomplish them
  • Tell holistic stories for our clients; use past experience in conceptualizing and executing campaigns for a variety of mediums to tell a story across multiple channels
  • Social media management and content creation
  • Deeply understand and evangelize the video, owned content, and technology spaces
  • Serve as client contact at times, using excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Work closely with organic social media, earned media, branding, and advertising teams to develop campaign content
  • Utilize skills across a wide range of projects including, but not limited to, short video projects for social ads, events, testimonials, short documentaries, and interviews with executives
  • Field requests for incoming creative needs and maintain an organized schedule for them
