Available online at homechef.com and in retail at more than 2,100 Kroger grocery stores, Home Chef is committed to inspiring and enabling more people to cook simple, delicious meals, no matter how busy they are. In 2023, Home Chef introduced a new brand, Tempo! Tempo features a rotating selection of ready-to-heat meals delivered directly to your door. These meals are better-for-you versions of familiar favorites, designed to save you time and reduce stress while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Our Tempo menu includes options that are protein-packed, fiber-rich, calorie and carb conscious, keto-friendly, and dietitian-approved. Similar to our recipes, we recognize that variety is the spice of life, and therefore, our employees also bring their uniqueness and color to our fantastic team. We’re eager to work with humble team players and pragmatic next-level thinkers to innovate on Home Chef’s offerings. We’re looking for a data-driven, conceptually sharp Creative Strategist to join our performance marketing team. In this role, you’ll translate insights, trends, and testing results into thumb-stopping creative ideas for paid social campaigns. You’ll partner closely with media buyers, brand leads, content creators, designers, and copywriters to develop ads that not only win attention but also drive measurable results.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in paid social creative strategy, performance marketing, or digital advertising.

  • Analytical mindset—comfortable interpreting campaign metrics to drive creative decisions.
  • Experience briefing and collaborating with creative teams (designers, video editors, copywriters).
  • Familiarity with creative testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Ads Manager, creative analytics dashboards).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Up to one year of post-high school training such as in a business school, community college or vocational training.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize platforms like Meta Ads Manager and Looker to uncover insights and learnings.
  • Develop actionable creative strategies for paid social ads that align with performance goals (ROAS, CPA, CTR, etc.).
  • Present creative recommendations backed by performance data to internal stakeholders and clients. Recommendations will include top performing ads and creative analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with paid media team, content creators / editors, brand leads, designers and copywriters to translate insights into compelling executions.
  • Create concepts and storyboard maps--including status, video, carousel and Reel formats--ensuring a clear narrative flow and strong call-to-action.
  • Take a scientific approach to ad development and provide team leadership in applying analysis and new techniques to creative execution.
  • Run creative testing frameworks, including A/B testing headlines, hooks, and visual approaches, to continuously optimize performance.
  • Keep projects running smoothly with on-time execution.
