About The Position

Vox Media is always looking for top talent, and we want to connect with candidates throughout the year. The current job post is an evergreen position and not an active position. The Creative Strategy team is using this post as a way to source and field top candidates interested in taking on temporary work assignments. The Creative Services Manager leads the execution of custom advertising campaigns by partnering with internal creative teams (experiential, written, design, video, photo) and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. From development through launch or event activation, the CSM ensures all campaign elements meet expectations, uphold creative standards, and align with client KPIs and business goals. This role requires strong creative literacy and the ability to translate client objectives into clear, actionable creative direction. The CSM shapes the client experience - guiding decision-making, setting expectations, anticipating challenges, and ensuring the final work delivers on both creative ambition and measurable outcomes. Ideal candidates bring exceptional communication skills, a background in creative production, and experience managing complex custom campaigns.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience executing creative advertising campaigns in a client-facing role
  • Strong understanding of client KPIs and ability to connect creative decisions to business outcomes
  • Proven communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Comfort working across Experiential, Video, Creative and Sales teams
  • Creative literacy across visual, editorial, experiential, and narrative formats
  • Strong client service and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with a solutions-first mindset
  • Awareness of the Vox Media networks and an understanding of the topics and trends we cover

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end execution of custom creative campaigns, ensuring alignment between client goals, KPIs, and creative outputs.
  • Serve as the trusted client-facing expert on all creative elements, providing strategic guidance and clear communication throughout the campaign.
  • Translate client objectives and feedback into actionable direction for internal teams, maintaining fidelity to the creative vision and campaign strategy.
  • Partner closely with Vox Media creative teams to accurately represent concepts, production considerations, and visual decisions in client conversations.
  • Shape a proactive, positive client experience by anticipating needs, flagging risks, and offering solutions that balance client expectations with Vox Media standards.
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues, diagnose root causes, and deliver solutions that support both client success and internal priorities.
  • Escalate challenges to Creative Services Leads with context and proposed paths forward.
