About The Position

We're seeking a motivated Marketing & Content Intern to join our team and contribute to Cosm's editorial content strategy while supporting our SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, search optimization, emerging AI-driven discovery trends, and working within content management systems (CMS) to publish and maintain content across our digital platforms.

Requirements

• Junior or Senior at the start of the program.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong research abilities and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Available to work in a Cosm Office (hybrid).
• Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in immersive technology and content.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit engaging editorial content, including blog posts, articles, and social media copy that aligns with Cosm's brand voice.
• Research and develop content topics that resonate with our target audience.
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities.
• Monitor SEO performance metrics and provide insights on content optimization.
• Research and track emerging trends in generative engine optimization (GEO), including AI search platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews.
• Analyze how content performs across traditional search engines versus AI-powered answer engines.
• Assist in optimizing existing content for improved search visibility.
• Use content management systems (CMS) to publish, update, and maintain content across Cosm's digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
