About The Position

We are looking for a part-time, remote Project Manager to support our creative team and client projects. The ideal candidate has a background in project management within a creative or marketing team supporting writing, graphic design, and video projects. In this role, you will manage creative workflows within our project management tool, coordinate project details and deliverables, manage timelines, facilitate reviews and scheduling with clients, and coordinate with internal and external creative team members to assign tasks and track progress. This role requires a combination of daily project management, critical thinking, strong communication skills, a high degree of responsiveness and follow-through, keen troubleshooting, high attention to detail, and proactive problem solving. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to help shape workflows, processes, and systems as the company continues to grow.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of project management or project coordinator experience within a creative or marketing team
  • Deep understanding of the creative process
  • Experience with a variety of creative and production work streams including written content, digital, print, social media, and video
  • Strong project management, leadership, and people management skills
  • Experience working with writers, designers, agencies and clients
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail
  • Proven experience learning and using new technologies (i.e. Monday, ClickUp, Asana, Slack)
  • Strong organization and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excels in a self-directed, remote work environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and educate others
  • Demonstrates initiative and teamwork
  • Resourceful and responsive
  • Working knowledge of creative applications and project management tools
  • Must be based in EST and available to work during normal business hours (9am-5pm ET)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with B2B marketing within tech, finance, or education
  • Adobe Suite experience and familiarity with Photoshop
  • Google Slides, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Input and track projects through our internal project management system (Monday.com)
  • Create timelines in accordance with SLAs and adjust in real-time as issues arise
  • Keep our project management system up-to-date and ensure all files are properly shared and organized
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders and our internal creative team, ensuring our team has the resources they need to meet client expectations and deliver work on time
  • Monitor project progress and ensure projects meet deadlines, flagging any roadblocks ahead of time for leadership to address
  • Prepare notes for internal and client status meetings and provide project updates regularly
  • Report regularly on process improvement needs, including enhancements to project management workflows
  • Help maintain digital asset library
