About The Position

At Sierra, we’re creating a platform to help businesses build better, more human customer experiences with AI. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices in Atlanta, New York, London, France, Singapore, and Japan. We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and Family. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do. Our co-founders are Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.

Requirements

  • Proven Producer Mindset - Experience juggling multiple creative projects at once, ideally in a startup or similarly fast-moving setting. Comfortable operating as a hybrid of project manager, creative operations lead, and brand advocate, all while focusing on driving tangible business results.
  • Hands-On Experience with Integrated Production - You’re adept at scoping and producing deliverables across mediums – web, print, social, events, video, and more. Familiarity with the tools and workflows designers and engineers use, so you can speak their language and anticipate constraints.
  • Excellent Communication & Collaboration Skills - You keep stakeholders in the loop with clear updates, surface trade-offs and resource needs proactively, and handle feedback constructively. Able to distill competing opinions into actionable plans that keep creative momentum alive.
  • Scrappy, Adaptable, Resilient, & Biased to Action - You embrace the unpredictable nature of a growing startup, remaining flexible and solution-oriented. Comfortable creating structure, swiftly prioritizing, and wearing multiple hats to get the job done. Able to adapt to changing priorities and handle ambiguity with grace.
  • Strong Organizational & Analytical Abilities - Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot risks early, define success metrics, and measure outcomes against objectives. Skilled at creating simple dashboards, trackers, or frameworks that keep the team aligned on key milestones and results.
  • Passion for Brand & User-Centric Storytelling - You understand how high-quality creative can shape perception and drive engagement.
  • Excited to partner with designers and marketers to continuously refine and evolve our brand narrative based on user insights.
  • Asset-Savvy & Production Fluent – You know your PNGs from your PDFs and your CMYK from your RGB. Comfortable navigating file types, export specs, naming conventions, and how assets move through the pipeline. Familiar with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and (eventually) asset management platforms. You understand design handoff workflows, the nuances between print and digital production, and the value of thorough QA checks.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Creative Projects from Brief to Launch - Own the end-to-end production process for everything from brand campaigns, video/live films, web content, social media content, and events. Keep the team aligned on objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that projects move quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Build Flexible Systems and Processes - In a fast-paced environment, you’ll define and refine lightweight workflows, tools, and documentation that let us experiment and iterate rapidly. Identify process bottlenecks early and proactively solve them.
  • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams & Vendors - Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, product managers, operation, and external vendors to scope work, set priorities, and pivot when needed. Act as the “glue” that connects creative strategy to execution, keeping everyone informed and moving forward.
  • Champion Quality and Brand Consistency - Serve as a guardian of our brand standards, raising the bar on every deliverable. You’ll ensure creative outputs resonate with our audience while maintaining a cohesive look and feel.
  • Facilitate feedback loops - gather input from multiple stakeholders, distill clear action items, and continually polish the final output.
  • Adapt and Iterate - In a small team, needs evolve quickly. You’ll stay ahead of changing priorities, pivot with grace, and thrive on finding creative solutions, even with limited resources.
