About The Position

We are seeking a Creative Manager – Advertising to work in the Philadelphia Corporate office, leading the design and production of catalogs, promotional materials, display graphics, and collateral across all markets. The Creative Manager is responsible for managing projects from concept through completion, developing new visual concepts as needed, and overseeing a recognized function within the organization, regularly directing the work of at least one full-time employee or equivalent.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in design management with strong graphic design expertise, including typography, layout, and product mockups
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate both independently and collaboratively
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide teams, manage projects, and drive execution
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management and digital asset management systems (e.g., Teamwork, PIM) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field required
  • 6–10+ years of experience in creative design, advertising, or production, preferably in an in-house or product-driven environment
  • 3+ years of direct supervisory and art direction experience, with demonstrated success leading creative teams
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the design and production of 5+ annual catalogs; collaborate with Creative leadership, Product Development, and Sales to develop layout strategy
  • Establish and maintain catalog production schedules aligned with Sales and Marketing needs; communicate timelines, key milestones, and any deviations to stakeholders
  • Track key performance metrics, including timelines, output quality, and production efficiency, to inform decision-making
  • Direct the design of promotional materials, signage, collateral; etc.
  • Ensure all creative deliverables align with brand standards and maintain consistency across all channels
  • Review all printed materials for accuracy prior to routing or release to print
  • Work with Photography Supervisor to ensure all digital merges, retouching, and final proofs align with product specifications and color standards before production
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in catalog and advertising design; share insights with the team
  • Train and mentor team members on departmental processes and software
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
