About The Position

Produce creative content for the purpose of growing the Texas Football brand as well as producing creative content for internal and external program needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere, and Lightroom.
  • Experienced in the practical use of cameras to capture high-quality video and photos.
  • Experience contributing social media content to a brand account.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Professional, positive problem-solver.
  • Highly developed creative and organizational skills.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
  • This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Adobe After Effects software.
  • Experience working with a collegiate or NFL team.
  • Experience posting to a brand social media account.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance concepts as they pertain to publicity and promotional efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts for compelling high-impact graphic design content that elevate the Texas Football brand and support the program’s recruiting strategy, ensuring all content aligns with departmental goals and brand standards.
  • Work closely with the Director of Creative and recruiting staff to coordinate content shoots and content needs for on-campus recruiting visits.
  • Manipulate existing graphic templates and create new designs for use in recruiting, on social media and any other team needs.
  • Capture and edit content from games, practices, workouts, and team events to be used in recruiting, on social media and any other team needs.
  • Serve as a project manager on various recruiting campaigns, special initiatives, and creative requests.
  • Contribute to the strategy and overall management of official Texas Football social media accounts.
  • Assist Creative Media leadership with additional assignments as needed.
  • Drive a UT or rental vehicle on and off campus.
  • Consistently exemplify the core values and quality service standards of Texas Athletics.
  • Always act ethically.
  • Proactively seek guidance when unsure or unclear of a law, rule or policy applicable to you or your department/sport program.
  • Actively participate in assigned education and training programs.
  • Comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System, The University of Texas at Austin, NCAA, Conference, or other governing body, including state and federal laws.
  • Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income.
  • Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR.
  • Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation.
