About The Position

The Creative Arts Coordinator needs to be a confident, highly organized, technologically savvy, and detail-oriented individual who can assist the Creative Arts Pastor with tasks, music, production, communications, and special projects. This position will require flexibility and the ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously. This person needs to be a gifted problem-solver who considers obstacles as challenges to be conquered. This person must have a heart for worshiping God, highly value excellence, have a positive and encouraging attitude, and seek to build healthy relationships.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is encouraged
• Skilled in Planning Center Online, Playback, Ableton, Word, Excel
• High comfort level with technology
• Organized, flexible; ability to multitask
• Exemplary oral & written skills
• Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• Commitment to continued personal spiritual growth and formation
• Model the standards and expectations of leaders within Journey Christian Church
• Must attend Journey Christian Church as their church home and align with core beliefscom/our-beliefs/

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the Creative Arts/Worship Pastor and the Creative Arts ministry team
• Manage and utilize Planning Center Online for scheduling, service flow, and communication
• Help plan and execute creative arts events (worship nights, team events, etc.)
• Prepare tracks for the band and communicate arrangement notes in advance
• Create, update, and organize musical resources for the worship team
• Collaborate with the worship pastor on musical arrangements and writing
• Assist in stocking green room resources
• Maintain instrumental equipment
